Vestal was for the heals so people wouldn't flat out die, Bounty Hunter was for attacking the boss + using marked, Grave Robber was used for attacking boss with dagger and blight darts, Crusader was meant to be the tank and keep the front line low or alternatively deal damage towards boss when he guards his minions. So with the scraps I had, I made a team out of the Crusader, a Vestal, Bounty Hunter and a Level 5 Grave Robber. I've tried to level up people for the higher dungeons but then events like this come and basically if you don't accept it, have to start building the village all over again. I only have very few high leveled people atm despite having almost all 31 spaces filled. Second time comes along and I have my Hellion, Occultist and Highwayman too stressed so I decide not to use them for this battle.

I didn't beat the Vvulf when he was first introduced, I just fled because people were going to die before even entering the boss room in the left curio room. So I used to have 6 heroes at level 6 (Crusader, 2x Vestal, Bounty Hunter, Hellion and a Highwayman) and also 3 level 5s (Flagellant, Occultist and Grave Robber).
